POLICIES - READ CAREFULLY
All applications will receive a reply by email. You must be at least twenty one years old to apply for a puppy or my waitlist. A photo of your ID is required with your application.
PRICING: Willow Dove Pugs has a set fee range. Fee information is provided with a completed application. Please note that I will not accept a waitlist signup payment *before* my fee range is disclosed.
New York considers puppy transactions as taxable. My sales tax certificate of authority is available upon request for in-person viewing. Please expect to pay sales tax.
Puppy selections are made by facetime/zoom, videos, and pictures. In-person choosing of your puppy is not typically offered due to associated risks. See my blog Parvovirus for more info. Exceptions are occasionally made depending on request and circumstances. A puppy-specific deposit is required to hold your puppy until pickup. Waitlist-fee deposits and puppy-specific deposits are strictly nonrefundable. Puppy-specific deposits are nontransferable.
My puppies come with a health guarantee and there's a no-breeding agreement in contract unless otherwise discussed. Puppies receive age-appropriate vaccinations, a physical exam, and a final groom before leaving.
AKC registration is provided with puppies placed in breeding homes. Limited or full registration is not provided with pet placed puppies.
Shipping is not an option until further notice. Note that you may act as your own flight nanny or ground transporter. Flying home with your puppy is very easy!
Waitlist Information
My waitlist is $100 to join as a pre-deposit. You must become an approved adopter to be placed on the waitlist. Waitlist deposits are credited toward the cost of your puppy and are nonrefundable!
Those who join the waitlist will be limited to available puppies that meet their initial desires. If you signup for a fawn male, you'll be limited to available fawn males. You will not be able to choose a fawn female or a black of either sex unless the rest of the waitlist with matching interests chooses not to claim them. Signing up for broader options allows for more choice, but please only signup for what you're genuinely open to. Signups expire after 8 months. The exception to waitlist expiration would be if I don't have at least one puppy that matches what you're looking for during the 8 months (this is rare). In that case, the signup would continue until I have a matching puppy available.
Those who signup for the waitlist should ideally be comfortable with at least the middle of my fee range for my puppies.

Please NOTICE: The anticipated timeframe of availability for new signups is early winter through spring of 2025 with sooner being possible.

5) Are you or your SO currently expecting a (human) baby soon or planning for one?
6) What is your budget for your puppy? WDP has a set fee range. Fee is determined by the pairing and individual puppy. Note that your budget has no influence over the SET fee range amount. Please do not write a vague answer or just "open."

8) Are you looking for a male, female, or are you open to either?

15) Do you intend to spay/neuter the puppy from WDP? Are you okay with spaying/neutering after first heat for a female or after one year of age for male to allow for proper maturity?
16) Are you hoping to one day breed the puppy you'd acquire from my program?

19) Please attach your ID to your email application as a regular file attachment, preferably your driver's license. From it, I am looking to see your full name, DOB, home address (even if it's not current), and your photo. Everything else can be blacked out if desired. Also providing your spouse/partner's ID is appreciated.
